Can i hook up a ps3 hard drive to a pc to retrieve data or do i have to format the hard drive in some way before it can be read on the pc? my 60gb ps3 recently got the ylod and i had a lot of game. If you were to take out the existing ps3 hard disk, put it in a caddy and then connect it to your pc, the pc probably won't be able to read the disk or its contents.. Has anyone tried to remove ps3 hdd from slot and ran it on pc with hdd reader? if we do it what will we see on pc ??. You can connect ps3's hard disc to a pc, however it doesn't seam to work. maybe i could try an other os (operating system) like linux or ubuntu....
