Ultimate Chicken Horse Available for NVIDIA SHIELD Priced at 10

Ultimate Chicken Horse Available for NVIDIA SHIELD Priced at 10

Get ready for a party, as the official launch of Ultimate Chicken Horse has commenced on Google Play for the NVIDIA SHIELD. Designed as a party game, with the title supporting up to 4 players at once, the goal is to reach the end of a level without getting destroyed by various in-level obstacles. The twist is, you design the levels.

If a level is made too easy, points are not distributed. However, if your level features plenty of saws, arrows, and other deadly devices, you score many points. Be the first to cross the finish line without taking too much damage and you win.

The game combines fun mechanics, such as wall jumping and bouncing, with an easy-to-master set of controls. So easy that anyone can get in on the action. Additionally, the game has an upbeat soundtrack, sure to get the blood flowing while you attempt to dodge arrows. Currently, there are 9 different levels to play with, but more are sure to come. Even with just the 9 levels, though, there are countless amounts of blocks to customize levels with. At this time, the only thing truly lacking is online multiplayer. We don’t know if that is coming, but it would be a huge plus.

Priced at $9.99 on Google Play, the game is definitely fun if you have multiple SHIELD Controllers, and a few friends. Even if you only have one extra controller and your significant other, you will still have plenty of fun. Worst case scenario, if you don’t have a SHIELD, don’t worry, we may be cooking something up with NVIDIA to help you with that.

Possible Next Gen NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet Drops by FCC

Possible Next Gen NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet Drops by FCC

Thanks to the FCC, we have learned that NVIDIA is working on a new tablet (product number: P2290W), possibly a follow-up to the SHIELD Tablet and SHIELD Tablet K1. While many details remain confidential due to NVIDIA’s successful filing of the Request for Confidentiality slip, we have learned a few things by digging through the hundred plus page reports, available for all to see on the FCC website.

First, the dimensions of the tablet are 8.58? (L), 4.84? (W), 0.31? (H), it weighs 350 grams, and it featured a 5,100mAh battery at the time of testing. Furthermore, it features dual-band WiFi connectivity, and also features a microUSB port; not USB Type-C. As you could probably guess, the tablet features Bluetooth LE connectivity, too. For specs, that’s all we know at this time, with no specifics being mentioned regarding display size, processor, or amount of RAM.

Keep in mind, FCC filings are never a sure thing, meaning it could be a while until we see this product, if ever. Two years ago, a SHIELD Portable-like controller device entered the FCC, which many thought was a SHIELD 2. Now, with it being 2016 and NVIDIA going full steam with Android TV set-top boxes, we will probably never know.

Time to share your wish list. If NVIDIA is working on a SHIELD Tablet sequel, a true sequel that is, what would you want to see from it? For me, I’d like an 8? display, Tegra X1, 4GB of RAM, Android N, and a big ol’ battery. Yup, that’s what I want.

NVIDIA and Bethesda Launch Fallout 4 Live Wallpaper Filled With Bobbleheads

NVIDIA and Bethesda Launch Fallout 4 Live Wallpaper Filled With Bobbleheads

Fallout 4. It’s super legit. For fans of the franchise, NVIDIA has teamed up with the creators, Bethesda, launching a live wallpaper app of all things to Google Play. The Fallout 4 Live Wallpaper features an assortment of bobbleheads from the Fallout game, allowing users to deck out their home screen with their favorites.

The overall animations you will see are very basic, with the bobbleheads sitting on top of a table. When you swipe through your screens, the lighting and positioning will change, but the bobbleheads don’t move. In the settings of the app, you can choose five specific bobbleheads to show off, or you can have the app randomize which bobbleheads are shown. According to the app’s description, there are 20 Fallout 4 bobbleheads to choose from, including Sneak, Melee, Luck, and Agility.

Live wallpapers haven’t really been relevant for the past few years, but since this is Fallout 4, they just received a violent shove back into relevancy.

You can download the app right now on Google Play for free.
